2026 Saskatchewan Indoor Rowing Championships

Saskatoon Rowing Club (SRC) hosted our annual provincial indoor rowing championships where athletes competed in the 2km and team relay events. Held at the SRC training centre, we packed the house with some great racing, lots of parents, families, and teams cheering on the athletes. Athletes from Lloydminster RC, Holy Rosary Highschool, Regina RC, Saskatoon RC and even Winnipeg RC participated in the event. We had a 48% increase in participation over last year, and lots of novice entries. The team relays were especially exciting to watch, as teams of four, sharing the same machine, each rowed 500 metres to complete the 2km challenge.

2025 Saskatchewan Indoor Rowing Championships

On March 8th, athletes from across the province met in Regina at the Wascana Rehab Centre to compete in the annual 2km and 500 m team relay. This year, we did things a little differently and had mixed teams randomly drawn based on registration at the event. This made for some fun racing but even better team comraderie and a chance to meet some rowers from other clubs.
