How can I get involved in Indoor Rowing in Saskatchewan?

Indoor rowing is one of the fastest growing disciplines in the sport! The Saskatchewan Rowing Association offers an opportunity for those living in remote areas away from major clubs in the province a chance to get involved in the sport of rowing.

The Remote Indoor Rowing Program offers:

• Coach led virtual or in-person group workouts
• Training plans designed by coaches to fit your goals
• One-on-one meetings with coach to review progress and goals
• Virtual or in-person yoga session once per week

What you will need to participate:

• Internet connectivity
• Rowing machine (can be your own or one at the gym) **Note that SRA can faciliate assistance with purchasing a machine for yourself if upon request
• A phone, tablet, or laptop

The program can prepare participants for the following:

• SRA Erg Series
• Canadian Indoor Rowing Championships (Virtual)
• World Indoor Rowing Championships (Must qualify through Canadian Indoor Rowing Championships)
• Saskatchewan Indoor Rowing Championships

Details of Program:

• 12 Week Program
• January 1 - March 31
• 2 indoor rowing workouts per week // 1 yoga session per week
• $120 Total
  • $44 Insurance Fee
  • $76 Session Fee (~$3 per workout)
