Directors
Amanda Billesberger, Saskatoon - President
Amanda Billesberger works as the Controller of the WeldCor Supplies Group of Companies. In addition to her work in finance, she also manages Human Resources for the company and owns a business that offers bookkeeping services to local businesses.
Amanda currently calls Warman home and trains as a master rower with the Saskatoon Rowing Club, but was born and raised in Sherwood Park, Alberta, and spent over a decade living in and exploring the PNW. Since joining the Saskatchewan rowing community in 2020, she has served multiple terms on the Saskatoon Rowing Club board of directors. Most recently, she has completed a two-year term as President of the Saskatchewan Rowing Association. Amanda continues to use her finance background to ensure that the SRA delivers on its fiduciary responsibilities to its membership, while striving to meet the organization's strategic goals of growth and excellence.

Stan Reed, Yorkton - Vice President & Yorkton Club Rep
Stan started rowing as a student at Purdue University and sculled for several years while living in Dallas, TX. He enjoys being on the water, whether backcountry canoeing, sailing or rowing. Recently, his enthusiasm for rowing has been rekindled with his oldest daughter's involvement in the sport. Stan has lived in Yorkton for the past 14 years and is a superintendent at Mosaic Potash.

Nicole works for the federal government in finance since October 2012. She recently completed her Bachelors Degree in finance in 2022 and worked as the treasurer and president for the Prince Albert Drifters Rowing Club for four years from 2018-2021. She was an active rower with the Prince Albert drifters rowing club from 2010-2021 but has now moved to Saskatoon and joined the competitive masters program at the Saskatoon Rowing club.

Amber Hage, Lloydminster - Lloydminster Rowing Club Rep
Amber Hage has been a member of the Lloydminster Rowing Club. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in financial management, grant writing, fundraising, and organizational development, all of which have contributed significantly to the growth and success of the Lloydminster Rowing club.
As a parent of a current LRC athlete, she and her family are actively involved in the rowing community and are passionate about helping the sport thrive. One of her notable contributions has been developing a sponsorship program to help increase club funding and strengthen community partnerships.
Amber is eager to continue learning, taking on new challenges, and supporting the growth of rowing in Saskatchewan. Her dedication, positive attitude, and commitment to the rowing community make her a tremendous asset to both the Lloydminster Rowing Club and the broader rowing community.

Tanja Tabel, Christopher Lake - Prince Albert Drifters Rowing Club Rep
Tanja is the mother of 2 daughters, wife, energy worker, business partner/owner, & operator...musher, and dogsledding guide. She has been on the board for the Canadian Challenge Sled Dog Race for 4 years. She is the President, a coach & rower of the Prince Albert Drifters Rowing Club since 2000. She started rowing in Saskatoon in the mid 1980's as a junior and competitive rower, then later moved into recreational rowing. She has been on the SRA Board on & off for several years, and is focusing on expanding rowing in the Prince Albert area.

Mark Sax, Regina - Regina Rowing Club Rep
Mark Sax is Director of the Distribution Control Office at SaskPower, where he leads the operation and modernization of the provincial distribution system. An engineer by background, he has spent most of his career in the heavy industrial sector, supporting mining and fertilizer production for global markets.
Mark lives in Regina with his wife, Nicole, and their children, Nolan and Ainsley, who are both members of the Regina Rowing Club. A masters track athlete with Excel Athletika, he trains and competes in sprint events. As the new President of the Regina Rowing Club, Mark is committed to advancing the sport across Saskatchewan and fostering youth development through the discipline and community that rowing provides.

Matt Bradshaw, Saskatoon - Saskatoon Rowing Club Rep:
Matthew is a competitive Master with the Saskatoon Rowing Club and currently serves as the organization's President. When he is not training, he dedicates his time to promoting children's health and well-being through comprehensive and compassionate care as a Pediatrician.

Sheila Leach, Weyburn - Weyburn Rowing Club Rep
Sheila has been a volunteer with multisports, rowing and others for more than 30 years. She is a certified Chief Umpire for Rowing and is passionate about growing the capacity of rowing in Saskatchewan and across the country. She is the Lead of the Umpire Training program in Saskatchewan.
More recently, Sheila has founded the Weyburn Rowing Club and is actively building a robust center for rowing in the SouthEast Sport District.
Sheila has been a volunteer with multisports, rowing and others for more than 30 years. She is a certified Chief Umpire for Rowing and is passionate about growing the capacity of rowing in Saskatchewan and across the country. She is the Lead of the Umpire Training program in Saskatchewan.

Rikia Trischuk, Saskatoon - Member at Large, High Performance Committee Chair
Rikia has been a member of the SRA Board since 2020 serving as VP of Development for two years and is now a member of the High Performance committee. She is a Occupational Therapist in Saskatoon. She is a member of the Saskatoon Rowing club and a former rower with Temple University.

Breanna Franklin, Regina - Member at Large
Breanna Franklin is the Marketing and Communications Manager for Canadian Western Agribition, North America's premier livestock and agribusiness show, where she leads brand strategy, digital engagement, stakeholder communications, and public-facing campaigns. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and has a professional background spanning marketing, media, customer experience, operations, and event management.
A former NCAA gymnast, Breanna began rowing following her collegiate athletic career and is actively involved with the Regina Rowing Club. She brings expertise in strategic communications, marketing, stakeholder relations, sponsorship development, and organizational planning to support the continued growth and success of rowing in Saskatchewan.

Shelby Lane, Lloydminster - Member at Large
Shelby joined the SRA Board in 2024, and has been a member of the Lloydminster Rowing club since she started rowing in her late teens. Shelby was a member of the 2022 Canada Games Team and rowed with her team mates to win a Bronze Medal in the Women's 8. She has since trained as an LTR and club Coach and is the Director of Programs and Club Coach at the Lloydminster Rowing club.
Shelby previously served two years as the Club Rep for the Lloydminster Rowing club.

Alyssa Weninger, Yorkton - Member at Large
Alyssa is a dentist working out of Yorkton Saskatchewan and whose hometown is Unity, Saskatchewan.
Alyssa was a member of the Saskatoon Rowing Club training during her years as a student at the University of Saskatchewan. She later attended University of Victoria, where she rowed with the Vikes for several years. From 2012 to 2016, she trained and competed with the Rowing Canada National Team.
Alyssa brings a wealth of experience as a former High-Performance athlete and looks to help build the rowing program in Yorkton and across the province.
