These volunteers spend countless hours promoting the sport of rowing in our province and across the country.

Directors
President: Amanda Billesberger, Saskatoon
Amanda is a current member of the Saskatoon Rowing Club where she trains with their Competitive Masters team. Amanda is a Concept2 certified indoor rowing coach and is RCA Learn to Row coach certified. She owns a bookkeeping business serving clients in Saskatoon and the surrounding areas. Prior to serving as President, Amanda served as Treasurer for SaskRowing.

Vice President: Stan Reed, Yorkton
Stan started rowing as a student at Purdue University and sculled for several years while living in Dallas, TX. He enjoys being on the water, whether backcountry canoeing, sailing or rowing. Recently, his enthusiasm for rowing has been rekindled with his oldest daughter's involvement in the sport. Stan has lived in Yorkton for the past 14 years and is a superintendent at Mosaic Potash.

Treasurer: Nicole Ede, Saskatoon
Nicole works for the federal government in finance since October 2012. She recently completed her Bachelors Degree in finance in 2022 and worked as the treasurer and president for the Prince Albert Drifters Rowing Club for four years from 2018-2021. She was an active rower with the Prince Albert drifters rowing club from 2010-2021 but has now moved to Saskatoon and joined the competitive masters program at the Saskatoon Rowing club.

RRC Club Rep & Development/Growth Committee Chair: Sarah Cooke, Regina
Sarah has been involved with rowing since she was a teenager as a rower, a parent to rowers, a volunteer and a board member of both the Regina Rowing Club and now the Saskatchewan Rowing Association. Sarah is passionate about promoting health and sport for life with her involvement with rowing, her work at the Queen City United Soccer Club, and giving sports nutrition talks to teams.
Sarah has been involved with rowing since she was a teenager as a rower, a parent to rowers, a volunteer and a board member of both the Regina Rowing Club and now the Saskatchewan Rowing Association. Sarah is passionate about promoting health and sport for life with her involvement with rowing, her work at the Queen City United Soccer Club, and giving sports nutrition talks to teams.
Director & High Performance Committee Chair: Rikia Trischuk, Saskatoon
Rikia has been a member of the SRA Board since 2020 serving as VP of Development for two years and is now a member of the High Performance committee. She is a Occupational Therapist in Saskatoon. She is a member of the Saskatoon Rowing club and a former rower with Temple University.

Lloydminster Rowing Club Rep: Shelby Lane
Shelby joined the SRA Board in 2024, and has been a member of the Lloydminster Rowing club since she started rowing in her late teens. Shelby was a member of the 2022 Canada Games Team and rowed with her team mates to win a Bronze Medal in the Women's 8. She has since trained as an LTR and club Coach and is the Director of Programs and Club Coach at the Lloydminster Rowing club.
Shelby joined the SRA Board in 2024, and has been a member of the Lloydminster Rowing club since she started rowing in her late teens. Shelby was a member of the 2022 Canada Games Team and rowed with her team mates to win a Bronze Medal in the Women's 8. Prince Albert Drifters Rowing Club Rep: Tanja Tabel
Tanja is the mother of 2 daughters, wife, energy worker, business partner/owner, & operator...musher, and dogsledding guide. She has been on the board for the Canadian Challenge Sled Dog Race for 4 years. She is the President, a coach & rower of the Prince Albert Drifters Rowing Club since 2000. She started rowing in Saskatoon in the mid 1980's as a junior and competitive rower, then later moved into recreational rowing. She has been on the SRA Board on & off for several years, and is focusing on expanding rowing in the Prince Albert area.

Sheila has been a volunteer with multisports, rowing and others for more than 30 years. She is a certified Chief Umpire for Rowing and is passionate about growing the capacity of rowing in Saskatchewan and across the country. She is the Lead of the Umpire Training program in Saskatchewan.
More recently, Sheila has founded the Weyburn Rowing Club and is actively building a robust center for rowing in the SouthEast Sport District.
