SRA ERG Series

2019/2020 ERG Series

Purpose: To promote competition between the members of clubs in Saskatchewan and encourage fitness across the rowing community.

Erg Series workout data will be accepted throughout the week the actual challenge is scheduled.

Most clubs will facilitate workouts as a team on Saturday mornings (it is highly encouraged to complete these challenges with other members as it makes your workout much easier in terms of pushing yourself). If this isn't possible, don't be discouraged! Complete the workouts on your own and use the results from others in the province as motivation to push yourself.

Workouts and weeks are posted below along with what needs to be recorded and submitted as well as what date the submission is due.

All erg series pieces are open rate unless otherwise stated.

Points will be awarded to individuals who complete the series workouts. For example if you place 3rd in the workout in the province and 10 people completed the workout that week, then you would receive 8 points. See the following example:

                                                                                                                     1st - Rower 1 = 5 points
                                                                                                                     2nd - Rower 2 = 4 points
                                                                                                                     3rd - Rower 3 = 3 points
                                                                                                                     4th - Rower 4 = 2 points
                                                                                                                      5th - Rower 5 = 1 point

Competitors with the most points will win the erg series. There will be an overall gender winner as well as an overall Junior (U19/U17), Senior (U23/Open/Lwt), and Master winner.

Submit scores on the Google Sheet under "Score Submission" link in ERG Series tab.
