How scores will be calculated and ranked
After filling in the Google Form the scores will be collected and ranked. Each event will be ranked separately with a final ranking based on the best overall percentage achieved of World Record Standard by an individual man and woman.
All results will be based on the percentage someone achieves with their overall time/500m split from the event of the month. Here’s an example of how this looks:
In this example the winner of the race would be Tara Tall because she got 91.03% of World Record standard. Second would be Sally Smith because she got 90.21% of World Record standard. Note that your age has no impact on your ability to compete against the rest of those participating.
At the end of the season (in April) an overall average of all a participant’s averages will be calculated and a final ranking will be determined.
****YOU MUST PARTICIPATE IN EVERY EVENT IF YOU WANT TO BE RANKED OVERALL AT THE END OF THE SEASON. You may also just compete in the events you want as well, but you will not be ranked overall if you do not complete all events.
Details for Each Event
Take a photo of your results each time as they may be asked for verification.
The February event will coincide with Virtual Saskatchewan Indoor Rowing Championships.
