March 16, COVID-19 and SRA recommendation to NOT train together
Dear SRA Member,
In light of today's announcements with the closure of all schools, the closure of recreation and leisure facilities, libraries and many non essential service providers it is imperative that SRA also contribute to preventing the spread of COVID-19.
All citizens are to increase social distancing and to diligently participate in the prevention of the spread of COVID-19. As such, we have made the decision to remain proactive in keeping our rowers and their families safe.
It is our recommendation that rowers not train together at gyms or club facilities, effective immediately.
We further advise that our coaches will be developing training modules designed for individual use in your own homes. These will be sent out through a newsletter format to our members commencing in the next few days.
Additional updates will be posted as circumstances change. Be safe.
